It's that day of the year, and I have a girlfriend for the first time on that day of the year, too bad Barbie is in Muncie, IN, like about 1000 miles from me in Florida and plane tickets were too expensive to fly up to spend the two days with her. But we sent each other valentine gifts via the mail. She sent me a Barbie blanket, so it reminds me of her, though its a bit on the girly side, a powerpoint slideshow of pictures of us with song lyrics and background music, from the last year, and some wonderful junk food, like pringles and a giant chocolate kiss, and animal crackers!!! I sent her a puppy that I made at Build-a-bear. She says she loves it so at least I can make a stuff toy good :)

On the job front, I had that interview on the 10th of January with NCCI but was not offered a position :( I'm still trying to find out from them what I can do to improve so I can be a better asset to the actuarial profession. I've started applying for more jobs throughout the nation, we'll see where I end up. For now the job at the Apple Store @ the Gardens is fun and keeps me occupied when they give me hours and pays me something.

I have to take this online macro-economics course which is going ok. I should be done with half of it by now, but I've only been done with a quarter, so I'm going to the library that is distraction free to get in some serious study time. I also got an L-shaped desk for my room, and I'm getting a nice chair for myself also, but I'll put pictures when the chair comes in.
